How to play Drunk Diplomacy
Drunk Diplomacy is a strategic drinking game where players negotiate and form secret alliances. The goal is to avoid drinking by siding with the right people – but breaking trust and having alliances exposed results in drinking penalties.
The game is perfect for 3–6 players who enjoy strategy, bluffing and high-tension social games.

Frequently asked questions
What is a backstab in Drunk Diplomacy?
A backstab is when you secretly switch alliance mid-round without your current partner knowing. Registered via the Backstab button in the app. If caught, you drink three times.
How many players does Drunk Diplomacy work for?
The game works best with 3–6 players. With 3 players there is one alliance, while with 6 players there are three alliance pairs – creating more complex dynamics.
What happens if you break an alliance and don't get caught?
If the backstab is not revealed, the victim drinks double. The successful backstabber gets away without penalty that round.
Can you have the same alliance partner two rounds in a row?
The app shuffles alliances each round, but you can manually edit them via the Edit button if you want to keep the same pair.
What does the "Reveal all" button do?
The Reveal all button shows all secret backstabs registered that round. Use it at the end of the round to dramatically expose betrayals.
