Any yes/no question is fair! The best ones are personal but not too hurtful – things that reveal habits, secrets and embarrassing situations. Avoid questions that could touch on genuinely sensitive topics.
Can you change the time limit?
The app uses 60 seconds as standard, which is ideal for good flow. If you want longer rounds, just don't start the timer and count manually – or decide on a fixed number of questions per round instead.
Can you pass instead of answering?
The standard rules don't allow passing – but many house rules let the player drink 3 sips to skip one question. Decide this with the group beforehand.
How many players does Hot Seat suit?
Hot Seat works best with 3–10 players. With 3–5 it is more intense, while 6–10 gives more variety in who asks the questions.
