Buffalo Drinking Game – Left Hand Rules
Always drink with your left hand — or get caught and chug!
How to play
Everyone must drink with their left hand, except left-handed people who must use their right hand.
If you see someone drinking with the wrong hand, shout "Buffalo! Buffalo! Buffalo!" and slam the table or clap your hands. When you start, everyone else must do the same. The person drinking with the wrong hand must finish their drink while you shout and clap, and cannot stop until the glass is empty.
Remember!
NOTE: The game applies from the moment you decide to start — and never ends!
How to play Buffalo
Buffalo is not a game in itself, but a house rule layered on top of any other game or party. Everyone who participates agrees that from the moment the rule starts, everyone MUST always drink with their left hand (left-handed people use their right). The rule never ends — it applies forever. Take a sip with the wrong hand and someone shouts "Buffalo!", and you must chug your drink.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Buffalo rule ever end?
No — the rule applies from the moment you start, forever. Even weeks after you played the rule can still apply, if the group agrees.
What if someone is left-handed?
Left-handed people use their right hand as their "correct" drinking hand. The rule mirrors itself for left-handed people.
Can you play Buffalo alongside other drinking games?
Yes, that's exactly the point. Buffalo is a house rule that works as a layer on top of Beer Pong, Ring of Fire, Categories — really any other game.
What happens if no one shouts Buffalo when someone drinks with the wrong hand?
Nothing — you're just lucky. The rule requires someone to see and shout. If no one is watching, you get away with it.
Does it count if you hold the glass with both hands?
Most house rules say the glass MUST NOT be touched by the right hand. If you hold it with two hands you can be caught. Check with your group.
